Nice to meet you.

Born in 1972, part of Japan's Dankai Junior Generation, I used to run daily without thinking about health.
Now in my 50s, I focus on managing my health by enjoying the process and not pushing too hard.
Here’s my story — I hope it inspires others to take small steps toward better health.

In My 30s, I Ran. In My 40s, I Stopped. In My 50s, I Started Walking.

In my 30s, I maintained a healthy weight (65kg) thanks to daily running — while enjoying beer and ramen freely.
But in my 40s, work consumed my time. Exercise disappeared, my weight increased, blood pressure rose, and eventually, I suffered from gout.
That’s when I realized — health only gets noticed when it’s gone.

My Sustainable Health Routine in My 50s

In my 50s, I realized I needed change — but I couldn’t run like before.
So I chose walking and swimming when needed.
This gentle, consistent routine helped stabilize my blood pressure and improve my overall health.
Now at 74kg, my realistic goal is 68kg. It’s no longer about returning to my youth — it’s about what works now.

Medication Is My Ally — Balance Over Perfection

I take daily medication for blood pressure and gout prevention.
While my triglycerides are still high, I don’t stress over numbers.
I prioritize balance — enjoying beer and ramen while maintaining sustainable habits.
