Hi there!
Yesterday, I hit the gym for a light workout:
- 10 minutes on the treadmill
- 20 minutes of easy swimming
- And about 10 minutes in the sauna
Why?
Because I want to see if a guy in his 50s can still finish a full marathon.
In my 30s, I ran a few marathons.
But in my 40s, work took over and I stopped running completely.
To be honest, I wasn’t even athletic as a student — no sports clubs, just straight home after school.
But somehow in adulthood, I started running, and it became part of me.
Now, in my 50s, I want to challenge myself again.
Not to break records, but to see what’s still possible.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Maybe I could try something too,” then this blog is doing its job.

Oh, and here’s my current favorite beer —
Asahi THE BITTER-IST.
Bold and bitter. Perfect after a workout (in moderation, of course! 🍺).
✨Final Thought
It’s never too late to change.
Even small steps count — as long as they’re forward.
